Due to the overwhelming response to Safety Town, we are limited to accepting only those children who will be starting kindergarten in the Copley-Fairlawn School District this fall. The Copley-Fairlawn School District includes Herberich Elementary School, Fort Island Elementary School, St. Hilary Catholic Elementary School, and Arrowhead Elementary School, or children residing in the City of Fairlawn.
Safety Town will be held weekdays from June 26th, 2017 through Friday, June 30th, 2017 at the Fairlawn Community Center (3486 S. Smith Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333). There will be two sessions each day. The morning session will run from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon session will run from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The police department is in need of student volunteers age 15 and over to help with Safety Town. If you are interested, applications are also available online.
